Retired…….

Well this week I retired. I am no longer working for the man. And I must admit it is a pretty good feeling. Not having to get up and be somewhere or pretend like you are busy and working. Much better now.

They say make sure you have something to do because you don’t want to be bored when you retire. I’m doubting that is a problem for me. I had seven to seven and a half hours of downtime every day while I worked, depending upon how long a lunch I took or if I came in real late or left real early.

Now don’t think that I was a total goof off or anything. I gave that place close too 100 hours of my best work in the near 14 years I was employed there. As a matter of fact they are planning on replacing me with two people. That has to tell you something.

So now the transition to retired life begins. Now to do those things I put off till I was done working. I made a list but unfortunately, I think I saved it on my work computer. I guess I’ll have to make a new one. I’ll get right on that after I get caught up on all 195 episodes of Murder She Wrote.
